(Ages: 13 - Adult) Beginner to the advanced. Skills taught; Learn proper breathing, develop and/or enhance their balance in the water while teaching and/or refining the four competitive strokes; (free, back, breast & butterfly) as well as starts, turns and finishes. Perfect for the swimmer who wants to develop and/or strengthen their swimming skills build endurance and get a great workout at the same time. A personalized program will also be available.
Swimmers will be divided into appropriate age/ability group. The competitive is the highest level of group instruction. Competitive swimmers can swim for a distance unaided. Competitive Swim is for the child on a swim team or who have advanced through the level programs. Developing and enhancing their balance in the water, while teaching and refining the four competitive strokes, starts, turns and finishes. These swimmers will work to improve their skills so they can swim several laps of each stroke with confidence.
Can comfortably swim freestyle and backstroke with rotary breathing. Skills taught; continue to develop rotary breathing, the refinement of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke, introduce butterfly and starts and turns.
Functions well in a group: Submerge face; bobbing with breathing, front glide, and roll to back float. Skills taught: continue to develop front & back crawl w/rotary breathing 10 yds. Introduction to breaststroke and butterfly kick.
Leave parent willingly: Functions well in a group. Skills taught; bubble blowing, bobbing, fully submerges face, supported glide, arm/leg movement, and supported float. Develop elementary backstroke & introduce front & back crawl. Emphasis is on basic water skills and safety in and around the water.
(Ages: 6 months - 4 yrs.) For children and their parent or favorite grown-up. Water adjustment, safety, blowing bubbles, bobbing, supported back float, arm, and leg movement, song, and games.
